1999: Launch of the Crossing and Quiksilver initiative, environmental department of Quiksilver Europe 

2000: Implementation of an Environmental Management System (EMS) 

2003: ISO 14001 certification of our EMS 

2004: Quiksilver Foundation creation 

2007: Quiksilver Initiative became Quiksilver Foundation Europe and the Sustainable Development cell 

2008: Set up of the Sustainable Development Committee 

2009 : ECORIDE certification 

2010 : Carbon footprint of our Campus 

2012:  Adopted Policy Language for Protecting Ancient & Engangered Forests Through Fabric Choices

-          REACH = Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals

 This is the European regulation which aims to limit or forbid some hazardous chemical products for human health or environment.

All our suppliers are informed of the regulation in order to comply with it. Products from our baby lines are systematically tested on their composition, coloring agents, buttons, print resistance to saliva and sweating.

Our production department works hand in hand with our suppliers and the laboratories to ensure the application of these rules.
